Grace Be With Rosebud…. SOLD “Della” is our Merry Boy/Go Boy mare (95 model). She is old foundation bred with Roan Allen and Merry legs still showing on her papers! She has been a great broodmare for us who is easy in every way. She breeds the first time, every time and her foals are robust, friendly, very naturally gaited, pretty headed, easy to train and often colorful. I have photos of her last 5 offspring. Della has fabulous ground manners, a comical personality and is a beauty to look at! She's being sold as a broodmare and only because we are scaling down due to health reasons. SOLD |

Chico's Midnight Charm “Boot” Appendix Paint Gelding This is my trusted, well broke breeding stock Appendix Paint Gelding, 'Boot'. I never thought I would or could part with him but I've decided that if I can find him the right home where he will be trail ridden and spoiled accordingly, I’ll let him go. This is a very hard decision but my days in the saddle are much too few and he deserves a life other than sitting in the pasture. Boot is 16 hands of powerful stuff but he's a big 'dog' and baby.. He's always been safe and reliable, his only vice under saddle was to stop/balk and you could always get him going. Boot is well trained and rides in either a bit or hackamore. He has a lovely posting trot that is easy to ride and great lope. He's a 'running bred' Paint who loves to trot and even canter but you have to stick a carrot out front to get him to run! lol In another words, He's laid back but willing and eager, tries to get out of work sometimes but gives in, never a buck or a rear or bolt. I've had him since he was 2 with just 30 days put on him and he is now 12. Boot has always favored women and kids and seems to know when a very young child is on his back being led. Blues a Poseur - Sold'Poseur' is an outstanding individual, raised here at Flying Horse Ranch. We were holding her back as broodstock because of her talent, pedigree and disposition and never intended to sell. I've come to realize that I cannot ride enough to rationalize keeping her. She's had 30 days of good pleasure training and she's really ready to hit the trails and perhaps even the show ring.. it's not fair to let her sit in the pasture and only breed her though she has the qualities we seek in a future broodmare.. Pose is willing and gentle. she rides on a loose rein and learns easily.. She's been trained 100% barefoot and without aids. This gal has an exceptional long striding backend and smooth natural gait. She's a sweet young mare whose always been easy and has had the best of care.. I have her listed as a '3' only because she's a young horse so she's a '3' for riding but a solid '1' on the ground. We are scaling down for health reasons or she would not be listed 'for sale'. Pedigree is outstanding with 9 WGC in her pedigree. Both of her parents ride well. Her dam is being ridden by a 10 yr old girl! She comes form a long line of good horses and her roan breeding has a high propensity for passing on in this strain. Click for videos |

Pia – 2011 Black Frame Overo Filly….SOLD This is our newest filly here at the Ranch. Pia is by a Trace of Moonlight and out of Pushers Touch me Not. She has that amazing natural gait, zest for life and personality that i see in all of our stallions get. Her dam is one of our best producing mares. Her bold true walking gait and Fresian-like looks just adds more excitement and intensity to this filly. To top it off, a bonus of the frame overo gene is added for additional flair and uniqueness! Aidan… SOLD Here is our last foal of the spring, Aidan (A Trace of Moonlight x Pushers Generating Swirls). We called him this because it's an anagram for his full sister's name (Nadia). We liked her so much that we quickly decided to retain her. This colt not only compares with but challenges his sister in talent, beauty and temperament! Wet My Whistle ~ “Sue Ellen” This mare is the dam of the overo spotted colt Giacomo (above) Wet My Whistle was selected for her extremely stylish and silky smooth moves under saddle. Traceless aka “Nika” ~ March 2011 Coal Black Filly
This is our last of our spring foals 'for sale' for the season. I thought of keeping her since I sold her dam and because she was so very easy to train. She really needs her own person though so I'm looking for a good home. This filly is a March weanling, solid black (not a white hair on her) and very sweet. She is willing and quick to learn, well gaited, reg. TWHBEA, has had all shots, been wormed, leads, loads, stands tied, picks up feet for you to clean and loves to drink out of the water hose! She is also a big 'talker' and will holler at you when she sees you, loves to be hugged and rubbed, even comes when called! Lastly, this filly was weaned and though she could see other horses was kept by herself for 2 months so she had a good foundation for setting her own confidence. She just as soon be with people than other horses. Definitely no spooky baby here. Nika is kid friendly and smart, easily one of our best, sans color! Also an old soul.
