Blue's a Poseur

20804005 Pedigree

Poser is our young roan filly born June 2008.   She is named for her funny habit of standing in one spot, even parked out, posing for the camera.   She will eventually come to you but will strike a pose either on her own or stay in one after you position her for a few shots.  Her name is not misspelled, just has a double meaning..  She also seems to be 'posing' as her sire since she favors him greatly.

Poser is very well gaited with a great stride and she's one of the most laid back filly’s we've raised. She has no fear of even a running bushhog right under her nose!   Her breeding  is also not lost in all that color with a smart  mix of Pride , Ebony, Carbon Copy and Delight Bummin around up close in her pedigree.

Baby Dirl  Paso Fino Filly,  51187   Pedigree

Baby is our Coral's Monarca de Vez direct daughter. Monarca is a multi champion Largo buckskin stallion (left) who resides in Arizona.

For those not familiar with the 'Largo' Paso Fino , it is quite similar to a  the speed rack of the Tennessee Walker or Racking horse. Her dam is the gentlest mare we've ever owned and has a consistent  largo of her own. Baby has been U.C. Davis tested to be genetically a buckskin carrying the grey gene.  Her barn name was courtesy our youngest niece.  See her sire at

Hot Sauce       Pedigree

Hottie is our 'summer surprise' purchase.  As soon as I saw her picture, I knew she was something special. Her sire has a winning show record in KY and her dam has been a great producer of the same. Hottie has the coveted Gold Coin breeding in 3 lines of her pedigree and she has that 'freaky' way of going that is rarely seen..  She can really dig in and move out, has limbs that seem almost 'double jointed'  thus making her a great prospect for the show ring.   Even better, her sweet and easy nature is refreshing.  We are happy to add her to our broodband.

Highlight of My Knight

2010 Filly by Trace  x   Diplomat's Delight

NADIA is our precious filly by our stallion, Trace, She is the first filly out of Swirl, a maiden mare and she come  out HUGE and lively! Nadia's name was taken from  from the Algonquin word for 'wise', Nadie. If you look, you will see that our filly has a marking on her back that actually looks like the word WIsE!  This filly has been UC Davis tested and her results  document that she carries one copy of the sabino gene and one copy of the frame overo. This means that  both Swirl and Trace threw their color and Nadia will  pass color  herself, 75% of the time; 25% probability of passing both the frame overo  and sabino together, 25%, the frame alone, 25%, sabino alone and 25%, solid. Nadia is a very athletic, active, agile  and talented filly.  With all this and her gentle nature too, she willl do well in any  task put before her. Check out her 2 blue eyes ( one heavy lined in ' eyliner').. She appears to have crystals around her iris. Definitely a 'one of a kind' filly!

‘Spider' by the successful, decorated show horse, Nite's Design.  All one has to do is look at Spidey to see loads of potential but the achievements of his relatives, speaks volumes. Not only is his sire an accomplished show horse in several divisions, he has also produced youngstock who are winning in futurity halter and lite shod. Also Spider's dam,  Jubilee's Shatan, has produced foals by other stallions who are blue ribbon and reserve champion futurity colts.  This shows him to have show potential bred in from both parents.  This boy is the type of naturally long striding, high stepping and headshaking Walking horse that is the goal when trying to produce a winner!  He has a great backend as well as an extraordinary front end that is set way on in front and allows him to break level. Spider has the spirit to go far.  Here is a Quote given courtesy of Walt Chism, former president of the TWHBEA  "The breeders of this colt ancestors are some of the more accomplished breeders in the walking horse world. He's 'bout perfect in conformation, has a very good back end from what I can tell but he really likes to use his front end". Spider will be leading, loading and tying before going to his new home.
