Allow us to introduce A Trace of Moonlight.
He is our beloved rare non-fading black frame overo stallion. Trace was Michigan's elusive secret for years before becoming available to us at Flying Horse Ranch. His quality is endless with his bold looks, big soft eye, short back, balanced conformation and lots of hair. His build is very versatile for the pleasure rider. Trace is multigaited barefoot in the field, and trainers have commented that his gait is as smooth as glass with no hard transitions. His biggest draw by far though is his high propensity for reproducing himself a.k.a., prepotency. He has an uncanny ability to stamp his foal with his look and loving personality. He's also been known as the TWH industry’s biggest overo color producer, passing his particular color pattern the majority of the time. His typical baby is a 50/50 black frame overo with a non fading coat and often a blue eye. We are excited that he will continue his legacy here in southwestern Kentucky and he is now available for shipped semen throughout the US. |
